Driven by the belief that visual records can be more reliable than human memory, I like to capture moments and stories. I question everything I hear, trying to look at multiple perspectives. Through documentary I hope to share questions, concerning mostly sociological themes, inviting the viewer to look critically at the world around us.
During my studies, I also developed a growing interest in fiction filmmaking. Writing and Editing are what draw me most, but I’m also learning producing and directing, which are roles I think suit me well. Comedy is a big love of mine and it’s the genre in which I most want want to develop as a writer.
Television interests me, as a source of inspiration and as a place where documentary and comedy can reach a broad audience and make people think and laugh.
I’m constantly trying to grow. Every project teaches me something new about the subject, the craft and myself, and I take that with me into the next one. I’m always open to collaboration where care, fun and learning from eachother are central.
